All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure if they feel one is required.

A family member or friend may accompany patients to routine consultations with the doctor.

A more formal chaperone (i.e. a trained member of staff) will be present for certain consultations and examinations in accordance with our chaperone policy.
